Wow! 2019 was an incredible year. Looking back now, thinking about, and reliving all those wonderful weddings I photographed has brought a mile wide smile to my face. I feel so lucky to be chosen by so many amazing couples to be the one to photograph their weddings. It’s such a joy to be a part of couples’ wedding days; to document the moments, to hear the funny stories, getting swept up with the emotional moments, and to be giving the time and trust to create some very cool portraits.
As well as all those lovely couples I got to work with, I also enjoyed a perfect blend of venues to work at (click on the link text to see example weddings):
There were those I haven’t been to in a while such as Highley Manor, The Ravenswood, Chiddingstone Castle, Kew Gardens, & The Spa Hotel (I’m loving the new outside ceremony area at The Spa Hotel – tip of the hat to you).
And there were some very cool new venues for me like Chelsea Old Town, Horsley Towers, Archbishops Palace, Tewin Bury Farm, Long Furlong Barn, Rowhill Grange, Bore Place, Hampton Court House, & One Whitehall Place.
2019 was also an important year for me, as it marked the milestone of being 10 years since I set up my company. So, Happy 10th Birthday Parkershots!
There are literally thousands of wedding photographers in Kent, and 100s of 1000s of wedding photographers in England, so I feel very honoured that so many choose me to photograph their wedding. So, to all those couples, I thank you for giving me your time and trust. And to everyone, here is a selection of my favourite wedding photography moments from 2019.
I hope you enjoy looking through them all and that they make you smile too (sorry there are so many but trust me, there could easily have been hundreds more in there).
