2.5 Publication / Marketing Data (Consent Only)

If you choose to sign our optional Model Release, we may process selected images for portfolio display, website use, social media, competitions, exhibitions, and marketing.

We process correspondence, notes, and information related to your relationship with us (“customer relationship data”).

Publication of images online (with consent) means they may be viewable worldwide.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described.

5.1 Retention Periods

  • Invoices and financial records: Minimum 6 years; may be kept longer for business records.
  • Contracts, wedding details, planning documents, and correspondence: Up to 6 years after completion of services (limitation period for legal claims).
  • Enquiry data (non-clients): Up to 3 years.
  • RAW files: Deleted after delivery of final edited images unless required for troubleshooting.
  • Final edited images: Retained as long as required to fulfil contractual and legal obligations, including album production, reprints, backup protection, and defence of legal claims.
  • Marketing/portfolio images: Retained indefinitely only where consent has been given.

5.2 Legal Obligations

We may retain data beyond these periods where required for legal or insurance purposes.

We may update this Privacy Notice periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email.
