I grew up in East Sussex, and it’s always been home to me. Even after spending time travelling and living abroad, it’s the place I’ve always come back to — and, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful parts of the country to get married.

From the rolling landscapes of the South Downs National Park to the coastline along the English Channel, Sussex offers an incredible mix of scenery and character. You’ll find medieval castles, historic villages, elegant manor houses, woodland estates, and vibrant seaside towns — all providing wonderful backdrops for a wedding day. Even iconic landmarks such as Brighton Pier add their own distinctive charm for couples choosing a coastal celebration.

I’ve been photographing weddings across Sussex for over 16 years now, in all sorts of settings — from intimate countryside venues to grand historic estates and relaxed seaside locations. Knowing the area so well means I’m able to work naturally with the light, locations and flow of the day, whatever the weather or season.
