Yesterday, I was back at The Ferry House Inn to photograph the wedding of Nikki & Joe. It was lovely being at this venue again, but especially so for Nikki & Joe, as I had previously photographed the wedding of Nikki's sister, Kayleigh, to Gary here back in 2017.
It was a beautiful sunny and brisk day for their wedding, with near perfect sunshine the whole day, and gifting a truly stunning sunset for the happy couple and their guests to enjoy.
They had their ceremony inside the barn with Joe's brother Harry being the best man / ring bearer, with assistance from Joe's nephew Max as mini best man. Nikki's bridal party included her sisters and niece with all looking beautiful in dark green dresses complemented by autumnal coloured bouquets.
After the ceremony, they were greeted with confetti from their guests on the patio before enjoying drinks, canapes, and magic by Connor Collins. I heard numerous guests talking about how amazing Connor was and the tricks I witness with Nikki & Joe were amazing.
I took Nikki & Joe down to the water's edge for a few portraits before the sun left us, and then we headed inside for the wedding breakfast. Gary then said a wedding toast to the couple, and the guests then headed back to the bar for drinks, games, and portraits by caricaturist Soozi. Nikki & Joe chose not to have an official first dance, but still looked to be throgouhly enjoying their time on the dance floor (as did their guests).
