Preview: Katharine & Justin’s Wedding Photography at The Plough in Leigh

My coverage of Katharine & Justin's wedding started at Katharine's mum's house, just a short drive away from my own in Tunbridge Wells. Then once everyone was ready, we all headed to St. Margaret's church in Sevenoaks for the ceremony, which was conducted by Rev. Tim Edwards. It's a beautiful little church, hidden from the road by a hedgerow so well that you could easily miss it when driving by. With the legal formalities all completed, Katharine and Justin were keen to get the celebrations underway, and so everyone moved on to The Plough in Leigh. I love this pub. It has so much character, cool features, and great food. I can see why Katharine and Justin chose it.

The newlyweds and their guests enjoyed drinks in the garden before their wedding breakfast in the beautiful fairy-light covered main barn. They had an amazing acoustic guitarist supplying the background music to the reception (Alan Oliver ttps://alanoliverguitarist.com/ - recommended!), and then a DJ and band for the evening. I really enjoyed their speeches, with particular mention to the best-man. The finale of a tequila shot helped me get some cracking photos of the bride and groom. Speaking of which, I must mention their first dance. They were pretty modest in the description of this beforehand - a slow first song followed by a medley of 3 songs afterwards. These two completely owned the dance floor with a pre-prepared routine that got everyone well and truly up for the party that followed.

Congratulations Katharine & Justin! I had a great time with you.
