Preview: Kalli & Callum’s Wedding Photography at Nettlestead Place

Kalli & Callum's beautiful wedding at Nettlestead Place was a celebration that brought together their American and Northern Irish families through love, music, and many games of cornhole.

The pair first met while studying for their Master's degrees at Queen's University Belfast. Their relationship got off to a rather unconventional start when the pandemic struck and Kalli found herself spending lockdown not only with Callum, but with his family too — before she'd even met them! Thankfully it proved to be the perfect foundation for their relationship, and five years later they found themselves marrying at the stunning Nettlestead Place.

There was another lovely story woven into the day too. Kalli is named after the calla lily flower, and it featured beautifully throughout the wedding, from her bouquet to the buttonholes worn by Callum and the groomsmen. It was a subtle but wonderfully personal touch that tied everything together.

The ceremony took place in the Undercroft and was led by their friend and celebrant, Georgia Robson-Wallis. Accompanied by a string quartet, it was a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony that included Kalli & Callum exchanging their personal vows.

Afterwards, guests gathered outside for confetti before enjoying drinks, canapés, beautiful music from the string quartet, and plenty of friendly games of cornhole.

The wedding breakfast room looked beautiful, with flowers by The Flowersmiths complementing the elegant surroundings of Nettlestead Place. Later in the afternoon there were speeches from Kalli's dad, Callum's best man and Callum himself.

As the evening approached, we stepped outside for a few portraits with Nettlestead Place providing a stunning backdrop before Kalli & Callum cut their cake and shared their first dance to So Glad I Found You by Jalen Ngonda.
