This weekend, I was covering the wedding of Stuart and Vicky, at Ockenden Manor in West Sussex. I have to say, I do love weddings at manor houses. They always seem to have a great vibe about them, but also the classic country architecture, mixed with gorgeous grounds, and friendly staff provide excellent ingredients for wonderful weddings. Having a Michelin Star restaurant also does well to win favour with me.
I started the day with Bridal Preparations shots in one of the rooms on site, where a balcony provided lots of natural light enabling me to capture the scene beautifully. The bride wore a stunning Pronovias dress complemented with a beautiful array of jewellery.
I then joined the Groom and his Groomsmen for some portraits outside before the wedding ceremony and a few shots of the guests arriving and enjoying the grounds.
The day went very smoothly from preparations to first dance, with miraculous weather throughout. They were a lovely couple to work with and I wish them lots of happiness together.
