Preview: Rachel & Matt’s Wedding Photography at Nettlestead Place

On Friday I was back at Nettlestead Place (one of my absolute favourite wedding venues) to photograph the wedding of Rachel & Matt. They had their whole day at Nettlestead, from Rachel getting ready upstairs in the morning, a beautiful ceremony in the undercroft, and then their reception in the grounds and marquee. It was a great day from start to finish, but one particular event has to get a mention here. Rachel's mum had arranged a surprise performance by singing waiters. I was just about to share the events that led to the waiters singing for the couple, but after more thought, I've decided not to. After all, someone reading this may yet to be married and if someone similarly arranges the singing waiters for them, I'd hate to give away even a hint of the surprise. What I can say though is that everyone loved the singing and it clearly put everyone in the mood to party.

After the meal and speeches ended, I took Rachel & Matt out for some portraits around the grounds at Nettlestead Place. The cloud cover that had kindly kept away the strongest of the summer sun during the afternoon cleared for us, and it was a beautiful golden evening. I look forward to sharing more from this beautiful wedding.

Congratulations Rachel & Matt!
