Laura and Alex celebrated their wedding in the breathtaking surroundings of Wadhurst Castle in Sussex – a day filled with music, laughter, and so much joy.
The morning began at The Cottage on the castle grounds, where Laura and her bridesmaids got ready before moving to the bridal suite. I captured the elegant details of her bridal look, along with the special moments shared with her mum as she helped Laura into her dress.
The ceremony took place in the Walled Garden, framed by the archway and surrounded by summer greenery. Laura’s mum proudly walked her down the aisle, and Alex’s sister gave a heartfelt reading that added such a personal touch.
After the ceremony, guests lined the garden path for a joyful confetti throw – a moment filled with laughter and celebration. Family and group portraits followed on the lawns, before everyone gathered for cake cutting and a traditional afternoon tea. Guests enjoyed lawn games, including cornhole, while the 'Gentlemen Roamers' kept the atmosphere alive with their roaming acoustic music.
As the evening sun began to dip, I slipped away with Laura and Alex for portraits around the castle in the soft golden light. Dinner was beautifully served by 'Sapna Caterers', with speeches scattered between courses from the maid of honour, Alex himself, his dad, and the best man – a perfect balance of laughter and heartfelt words.
The evening celebrations began with a choreographed first dance to “You’ve Got the Love”, performed live by 'Coco Magic', before we finished with a romantic night portrait and left the newlyweds to continue the party in style.
