On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Hannah & Alex's wedding at the beautiful Chafford Park.
Hannah got ready in the comfort of her own home with her mum, maid of honour and sister Katelin, and her bridesmaids Holly B, Holly G and Emily. Also there was Katelin's partner Charlie, and their newborn baby Freddie. Once Hannah was ready, we had a lovely first look with her dad before everyone made the journey over to Chafford Park.
Inside the ceremony barn, Emily from Made with Love Celebrations led the service, making it feel incredibly personal. Alex's mum also gave a reading before the couple exchanged their vows, adding another lovely family touch to the day.
Afterwards, everyone gathered outside for confetti before enjoying drinks, garden games and catching up in the sunshine while we worked through the family photographs. Throughout the drinks reception, Paul Malsom provided beautiful live guitar music, adding to the wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.
After the meal, there were speeches from Hannah's dad, maid of honour Katelin, Alex, his two best men (who are also his brothers), and finally Alex's dad, bringing a brilliant mix of humour, stories and heartfelt moments that perfectly reflected the close-knit families coming together.
As the evening approached, we headed back outside for a few more portraits before Hannah & Alex shared their first dance to All My Love by Coldplay. It was a lovely way to begin the evening celebrations before everyone joined them on the dancefloor.
It was such a relaxed and family-centred day to be part of — full of love, laughter and the people who mattered most.
