Preview: Jess & Chris’ Wedding Photography at Wadhurst Castle

Jessica & Christopher's wedding at Wadhurst Castle had a wonderfully classic feel to it, with morning suits, a string quartet and the beautiful surroundings of the castle providing the perfect setting for their day.

Having originally met on Hinge, Jess & Chris had come a long way from matching on a dating app to standing together in the Walled Garden at Wadhurst Castle! Their outdoor ceremony was accompanied by a string quartet and included three readings from their family and friends, with Jess walking down the aisle alongside her mum.

The weather certainly made its presence known too. Although it stayed dry for their outdoor ceremony and reception, it was incredibly windy! Thankfully everyone embraced it, and the occasional battle with dresses, veils and hair simply became part of the fun of the day.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks, canapés, lawn games and music from the string quartet around the castle.

Jess began the speeches at the start of the wedding breakfast, before her dad Darrell, Chris and best man Ed took their turns later in the day.

As the evening approached, we headed back outside for a few portraits around the castle, making the most of the beautiful grounds — and doing our best to work with the wind rather than against it!

The evening celebrations began with the cutting of their cat-adorned wedding cake before Jess & Chris took to the dancefloor for their first dance to Rule the World by Take That.

From the morning suits and string quartet to the outdoor ceremony and beautiful surroundings of Wadhurst Castle, it was every bit the classic wedding Jess & Chris had hoped for, with plenty of personal touches making it unmistakably theirs.
