Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Magill!
Yesterday's wedding started with bridal preparation at The Bell Inn, in Ticehurst. This is an uber stylish pub perfectly blending funky modern chic with rustic charm. It is also a veritable playground for photography providing lots of fun for a few portraits before the bride left for the wedding venue.
The wedding venue, Swallows Oast, was built in the 1830s and is hidden from the main road. We were very lucky yesterday with the weather as although it turned very cold, it also remained dry and sunny, meaning we could do all the group shots and portraits of the bride and groom outside.
The Bride and Groom, Cas and Alex, opted for a Ceilidh 'first dance' which is the 2nd I have now had the pleasure of photographing. It's a great way to start the evening activities and always gets everyone right into the spirit of things.
I wish them both lots of happiness together and for an amazing honeymoon.
