On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Phaedra and Lucy in London. Their wedding was split between two beautiful hotels, The Richmond Hill & The Petersham, which are a short walk apart, and just stone's throw away from Richmond Park.
I joined Phaedra at the Richmond Hill for her prep, before meeting up with Lucy at The Petersham, where their ceremony, drinks reception, and wedding breakfast would be, before everyone moved up to the Richmond Hill hotel again for the first dance and party beyond.
For their day, Phaedra and Lucy had arranged a rather special form of transport. Phaedra's journey to the ceremony was via horse and carriage. Now, I don't know horses (or carriages for that matter), but these horses looked seriously impressive, and the newlyweds said they felt like Royalty and they travelled to Richmond Park and back again. It was the perfect choice for their wedding, and I'm sure will be an especially cherished part of their day.
