Preview: Claire & Charlie’s Wedding Photography at Nettlestead Place

Claire & Charlie booked me for their wedding back in August 2019. Back then seems like another life-time away after all that has happened this year. It's been tough on us all for various reasons so it's even more rewarding when a wedding goes ahead. It's a joy to be a part of and really does feel like love conquering all.

Claire & Charlie had their ceremony at St. Mary the Virgin Church which is just a short walk away from Nettlestead Place. It's a beautiful church and Rev. Anthony Carr gave a lovely and informative service - the church has some stunning medieval stained glass windows. There were a few changes to a normal wedding ceremony; songs were still played but no singing was allowed (I had to resist the urge to sing along here as I almost go into song without realising when I'm working); then there was the video live-stream set up on a mobile phone for Charlie's sister who couldn't attend.

After the ceremony we all walked to Nettlestead Place for a few drinks and photos. It may not have been the wedding day that Claire and Charlie had planned a year ago, but I can't help but feel the most important part has been achieved so I'm sure they are over the moon about that.

Congratulations Claire & Charlie - you did it!
