Preview: Tanya & Anthony’s Wedding Photography at Cooling Castle

Wedding Photography at Cooling Castle Barn by Kent Wedding Photographer, Parkershots

Yesterday's wedding at Cooling Castle Barn was rather special for me, because it feels like I know the Bride and Groom so well now. Tanya and Anthony were recommended to use me as their wedding photographer from a couple whose wedding I photographed last year. After booking me for their wedding, they also booked a bump-to-baby portrait session. It's always nice working with the same people again, and yesterday I not only photographed their amazing wedding, but also saw their now 9 month old daughter again, and "wow", how she has grown up fast.

I started the day with some Bridal Preparation shots, and capturing the details of her attire, from an amazing Hollywood Dreams dress, Swarovski jewellery, to incredible Louboutin shoes. She looked incredible.

The rain was pouring pretty hard for most of the morning so whenever it eased, I popped out to join the Groom and his Groomsmen for a few shots. They arrived at the venue in the enviable style of a Bentley, so a shot with that couple and that was a must at some point for later in the day.

After the ceremony, the rain was still falling pretty hard so I photographed the largest groups inside, and then photographed the smaller groups outside when there was a clear spell. I'll say one thing for the rain, it sure did make all the trees and plants look vibrant.

The meal was delicious, and the speeches were heartfelt and humorous. I photographed the First Dance and then the Bride and Groom joined me outside for a last portrait in front of the lit-up Castle ruins. It was a perfect end to my day there and a great start to their evening's fun.
