I first met Melissa and Jason after a friend had recommended me to them following a portrait session. We talked through their wedding plans and their chosen venue, Winters Barn, was one I had worked at before. They were obviously both creative people so from the outset, I knew there would be lots of details to capture on their day - and they didn't disappoint.
There were custom polo shirts for the groom and best man, uber stylish Ted Baker suits for all the groomsmen, intricate table decorations, welcome signs, all sorts of hearts hung all around the grounds, and an incredible Beauford wedding car. They had also designed their own wedding stationary, with table layout and table signs to match, and Jason's web design company had produced a web info page all about the couple for their guests to view before the big day.
I loved all the work that went into this wedding, and having met them a few times now, through pre-wedding chats and their engagement portrait session, really felt like I was photographing my friend's wedding.
