With the Bride working in interior design, I always knew Lucy and John's wedding would be a stylish day, and I loved all the details they had chosen for their wedding. In particular, I loved their selection of seasonal colours for the bouquet and buttonholes, and the addition of flowers in Lucy's hair looked so beautiful. The fact that their wedding was at Eastwell Manor, one of the most impressive venues in Kent, and it happened on, what I can only assume to be, one of the best weather days for late-November ever, created a truly stunning day.
One aspect of their wedding day that deserves specific mention is the speeches. For what is often the most dreaded part of the day for the groom and best man, these guys (and the brother of the bride), did a fantastic job. John's speech was emotional and funny. He had all of their guests cracking up as he joked about fighting back the tears, particularly when thanking his parents. It brought so many memories of my own wedding back to me, as I too, nearly cracked into tears when it came to thanking my parents. I also loved his little play on words of saying they were 'expecting', before finishing the sentence.
Such a beautiful couple and a beautiful day.
This was my first time as a Eastwell Manor Wedding Photographer and I look forward to returning again soon. It truly is a stunning venue with lots of beautiful locations for fine art wedding photography.
