A beautiful wedding day at Gravetye Manor, Sussex, with our Bride and Groom, Jo & David.
The day started for us with Bridal preparation photographs at Gravetye Manor. Jo had chosen a beautiful wedding dress designed by Caroline Castigliano, shoes by Beretun Designs, and various items of elegant jewelery complimenting her look, and all deserving detail photographs for their wedding album.
Two stunning Rolls Royces from Sussex Bridal Cars whisked the bridal party off to St. John the Evangelist’s Church in Heron’s Ghyll for an emotional ceremony, before returning the married couple to Gravetye Manor.
By some miracle or blessing from above, the rain stopped for a couple of hours, allowing me to conduct all the formal photographs as well as the bride and groom portraits in the magnificent gardens that Gravetye Manor offers.
The bride and groom kindly provided me with the full wedding breakfast, allowing me to photograph each course for them, once again, adding to the story of their day. The food is often excellent at weddings, but I have to say the food at Gravetye Manor was out of this world. For culinary lovers out there, this really is a venue not to be missed.
I then captured the wedding speeches of the father of the bride, groom, and the best man, which were all full of humour and emotion. After the speeches, there was some time to relax for the bride and groom before the official cake cutting, and then once their evening guests had arrived, it was time for the first dance.
It was a beautiful day all round and they were a lovely couple to work with. I wish them both lots of happiness together.
