Our fabulous Bride and Groom this week were Gemma and Anthony, who wed yesterday at Wadhurst Castle, East Sussex, just a 15 minute drive from Tunbridge Wells. This is the first time I have covered a wedding at this incredible venue. Wadhurst Castle seems to be a bit of a secret in the region that is swiftly becoming more and more known. Hardly surprisingly considering it offers a beautiful interior with north facing rooms for bridal preparation, feature rooms, a walled garden for outside weddings, stunning pathways bordered by vibrant flower beds, and a lawn with a castle backdrop and an incredible view across the Sussex countryside.
Gemma and Anthony were blessed with good weather yesterday (despite a pessimistic met office forecast) and enjoyed their day outside including the actual ceremony. I’m sure the air temperature felt a little cold for some of their guests, having traveled all the way from Australia but everyone looked to be thoroughly enjoying themselves.
It was a pleasure covering Gemma and Anthony’s wedding and I wish them lots of happiness together. Both were genuinely nice people and obviously shared great chemistry.
