As if we weren’t spoilt enough in Kent with an already plentiful selection of incredible wedding venues, lucky couples now have a new option in the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells. Chafford Park offers beautiful countryside views, is surrounded by fields, and quite uniquely has a barn for the ceremony. This isn’t your typical barn though, or the sort you’d expect after knowing such venues as Winters Barns, or Cooling Castle Barn. Being on a working farm, this barn is a proper farm barn with corrugated metal lined walls and a much more rustic feel to it. It has white material draped inside, with fairy lights decorating it giving a lovely wedding feel, and also a very laid back country style. It’s not for everyone, but I love it, and I hope to photograph many more weddings at Chafford Park.
Claire and Malcolm chose this venue as soon as they saw it and it fitted perfectly with their laid back garden party style wedding. It was particularly special for them as Chafford Park has only just received their wedding licence, and this was the first official wedding ceremony there. And so, it was special for me as well being the first Chafford Park wedding photographer, and now, a recommended photographer at Chafford Park!
Here is a selection of images from Claire and Malcolm’s gorgeous summer wedding.
After such an amazing wedding, I’m sure you can’t blame me for looking forward to photographing more weddings at Chafford Park!
